Why are there so many bad Death Note cosplayers out there?
I know that Death Note is pretty much the easiest cosplay to do (besides the Shinigami), but seriously, is it necessary to have so many bad Death Note cosplayers?
I know that I’m not a cosplayer and I don’t intend to cosplay.
However, I do intense work on EGA, EGL, and Lolita and know that if I can put as much time and effort into making something look perfect and not being completely terrible looking.
I also know that if I don’t think something will look good on me I won’t wear it.
Knowing intense cosplayers and people who cosplay well, I often talk about what goes into making an outfit and do my best to understand how intense it is to cosplay and be in character.
So when I see a bad cosplayer, even for something as simple as a Death Note cosplay, I just cringe.
I know not everyone can achieve that “perfect” look, but you can still put a little more effort into it rather than putting on eye liner and a white sweater and saying you’re L from Death Note.
